With Mother's Day coming up this weekend, it's the ideal time to do a roundup of our fav traveling mamas.
These mamas are not afraid to jet set across the globe with kids in tow.
Some of them have even taken multi-month journeys with their little ones.
Founder of Travel Mamas, Colleen has created a go-to place for packing lists, gear rental, destination guides -- all kid and baby friendly.
One of her most popular posts is her packing list for babies + toddlers, and the top 15 things to do with kids in San Diego.
Colleen is always on the go (and her instagram is a testament to this!). Definitely a must for any mama with wanderlust.
Katie, the writer behind La Jolla Mom focuses on the luxury niche of travel.
She's got articles that range from the practical (15 Hotel Safety Tips for Families with Young Kids) to the luxurious, destination guides for kids to how to fly tips on topics like flying with kids in business class.
Katie's instagram account is drool-worthy. She posts so many beautiful pictures of her trips, and my fav -- her food. Today, I saw a 'sushi burrito' that is now on my must-eat list. Check out LaJolla Mom for sure, as she's a great resource for all things travel.
Cheating here a bit, as Y Travel is run by husband and wife duo, Caz and Craig. However, a roundup about family travel could not be complete without them.
Their blog, Y Travel is one of the most popular on the interwebs. Although they don't focus exclusively on family travel, the majority of their travel happens with their two kids in tow. Their motto is "Accumulate Memories, not possessions". Love it!
Y Travel tackles tough topics like, "Is traveling with kids too hard?". They also share their tips of smarter/more affordable travel, and how to become a successful travel blogger.
Catch up with Caz + Craig on Instagram.
The Vacation Gals is a trio of travel bloggers (Beth, Jennifer and Kara) all of whom have kids ranging in age from 1-16 years old. Each blogger lives in a different part of the US, and shares her experiences creating happiness and home, and on the road.
Popular posts include "How to Vacation to Disney's Hawaii Resort on a Budget" to Mosquito bite prevention to the Truth about Overhead Bins (so true by the way!)
Definitely a good all around, regularly updated site with loads of rich content about traveling with and without kids.
I love the name of this blog! Corrine is a gifted writer who captures all of the practicalities of traveling with babies and toddlers. Articles like 10 Tips for Airport Security answer many of the common questions from new moms.
If you want to peak your wanderlust, check out her trip reports database. OMG! I don't even have kids, and I could spend hours in here browsing destinations.
You can follow Corrine on Instagram here.
