Black and WhiteScrunchies are made from a fabric blend of Rayon from Bamboo | Cotton | SpandexLuxuriously soft, eco-friendly Rayon from Bamboo is made from Bamboo fiber grown without pesticides and fertilizers. Bamboo crops naturally replenish themselves and produce a fabric that is breathable, silky and soft. Dyes are hypo-allergenic and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified to be free of harmful chemicals.
Royal Blue and Ginger Mauve Scrunchies are made from a blend of Lenzing Modal® | Spandex
Modal is a naturally derived, plant-based fabric cultivated from beech-tree pulp which is sustainably sourced in Austria, and neighbouring countries. Modal is made through an environmentally-conscious process where 95% of water and materials used to make the fabric are recycled. The fabric is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified which means it is free of harmful chemicals.
HOW IT'S MADE
The Renew Scrunchies are made from fabric cuttings. During each production run, we ask our Sewing Studios to save excess fabric cuttings. The fabric cuttings are collected and stored at our studio, and recut into small accessories, like these Scrunchies. So, you get a fun and functional Scrunchie, and the fabric is saved from going into the landfill. Win, win.
