I wasn't sure about The Chrysalis Cardi Maxi at first. I've worn it 4 different ways and people are amazed when I say, "This dress is the cardigan I wore last week."
The usual response is, "How is that possible?". Then I explain, let them feel the fabric and tell them where they can get theirs.
Love how this can be worn different ways to cut down on packing. My favorite is the X-back halter and the cocoon cardi, my friend was amazed that I was able to wear it again on a weekend getaway. Just be careful to find all the deodorant marks when you switch out the style. ;-)
Spring, summer, or fall, I'm constantly wearing this piece and looking forward to buying another in a different color. The only downside is having to resecure the snaps with thread of my own, but that's no problem considering how much mileage I get out it.
I bought this for a trip where I would need to wear a scarf/head covering and it was perfectly suited for this type of fashion conversion. However, I could not figure out how to fold and snap the other options provided in the information packet. It appeared that instructions were out of order when I compared them to the youtube videos online. Also, other people's videos not associated with Encircled were much easier to follow than the videos provided from the website itself, it's like the fan videos showed more of the steps involved while the company provided videos glossed over the key steps required. Again, it was perfect for use as a scarf that I could quickly wrap over my head to cover my hair, but was very difficult to use otherwise.
I loved the feel of the fabric, color (burgundy) and fit, not so much. The snaps kept coming undone (could be embarrassing) and I really couldn’t get a flattering fit. It may look good on very thin people, but not on me. I was able to return easily. I’d still like to try the CC just for all the options available with it, but probably won’t for the same reason as mentioned in the reviews. Love the company and have their short sleeved Revolve dress and just love it.
