We couldn’t find the perfect boxy tee, so we made one. Our Boxy Tee is reversible so you get two necklines in one top and features a flattering, relaxed fit. Available in a lightweight textured linen blend and an ultra-soft bamboo blend, this elevated basic is what your wardrobe’s been missing.

Fully reversible with two necklines - scoop neck or boat neck. Both necklines keep bra straps concealed.

The perfect length and boxy fit. Wear loose or front tucked for two different looks.

Choose between ultra-soft, breathable and sustainable bamboo/organic cotton, or a linen blend.

Ethically-Made Clothing

Encircled clothing is locally-made within 60km of our studio in Toronto, Canada at garment factories we vet for standards against our Ethical Code of Conduct checklist.

Local production in Canada means fair wages, safe working conditions, regulated time off, provincially funded health care and the right to unionize. Workers are protected by the Province of Ontario Employee Standards Act. We visit factories regularly, often weekly if not more frequenlty.

We prioritize working with local production on every component from labels, to zippers, to fabric due to the higher quality and standard of life offered to those who make the products locally in Canada.

Environmentally-Conscious

Low impact dyes that are free of harmful chemicals, and tested to be safe for your skin and safe for the workers harvesting, knitting and dying the fabric.

A large portion of our fabric (approx. 50%) is knit and dyed locally in Ontario, reducing our carbon footprint significantly.

Every fabric contains naturally-derived fibres that meet the highest standards of environmental sustainability. Read more on the Fabric below for each style.

Where noted, our fabrics are certified yarns, which means that they're sustainably-sourced in a way that honours the planet in the process.

Perfect Basic Tee

I purchased the ecru linen tee. The fabric is so amazing! I can't say enough about the versatility of having a tee I can wear 2 ways to achieve a different neckline! When layered, the neckline lays nice and flat due to the quality sewing. I have washed it a couple of times and line-dried it and it looks brand new.

Love!

This t is absolutely perfect. Soft and flowy, but still structured -- it creates and effortless but put together vibe. I got the stripe and I've worn it to work and also to brunch. I would def buy more. I also love that these are made in Canada.

Perfect T Shirt!

I recently purchased the striped version of this shirt and it is perfect! The boxy cut is great for those of us with a little more "fluff". I prefer wearing the flat side of the neck towards the front for a boat-neck look but love that I have the option for a scoop neck. The stripes are so cute too! I would love to see more colors of the stripes made available (red, navy blue, hot pink) as well as more solid colors (black, dark charcoal, red, navy blue, etc...) in the future.

Amazing! 10/10!

Please consider bringing this tee back! I bought the striped one on sale, and now I just want it in every color possible.

Fit

FIT ADVICE

The Everyday Boxy Tee features a relaxed, boxy fit. It’s fitted in the shoulder, and falls straight down to the hip. We suggest you order true to your normal size.

Note: These fabrics will shrink during the first wash - but we've accounted for this! If your top feels a bit big on arrival, just wash them, hang to dry, and reshape as needed.

Top length: From centre-front to hem, the length ranges from 22.25"- 25" depending on the size.

Scoop neck depth: 3.75" - 4.375" depending on the size.

Boatneck depth: 0.25" - 0.875" depending on the size.

*The fit of the Everyday Boxy Tee was updated in July 2022 based on customer feedback. Changes to the style include:
Fit is less oversized, though still boxy and relaxed.
The neckline was narrowed at the shoulder so it covers bra straps.
Sleeve seam sits closer to shoulder.

🍃 Ecru and Light Heathered Grey is made from Linen | Polyester.

Breathable, durable, with a luxurious hand-feel, our linen/polyester blend will keep you cool all day long. We've chosen a blend with polyester because it allows the linen to wash better, it increases softness, reduces wrinkling, and helps retain colour better.

🍃 Grey and White Stripe is made from Rayon from Bamboo | Organic Cotton | Spandex.

Luxuriously soft, eco-friendly Rayon from Bamboo is made from renewably sourced bamboo fiber grown without pesticides and fertilizers. Bamboo crops naturally replenish themselves and produce a fabric that is silky and soft. Combined with organic cotton, it creates a comfortable, breathable fabric that is perfect for all-day wear.

Care

Note: This top will shrink during the first wash—if your top feels a bit long on arrival, just wash them, hang to dry, and reshape as needed. Machine wash cold. No bleach. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low inside out. Do not dry clean.
