I love the idea of this piece in theory, but in reality all you get is a bunch of different options that look mediocre. No one way of wearing it looks particularly good. Each different way of wearing it looks fine at best. Wearing it as a cardigan in particular clearly looks like it's not meant to be a cardigan--it's a different piece of clothing that's trying to be a cardigan.
Please, please, please do different tutorials for this dress! The ones with just music are impossible to follow, and the text ones don’t match what the wordless videos are doing. Also, for the luvagod, never use a black garment to show these steps! It’s impossible to tell what side is up or what part of the garment she’s grabbing. I was really hoping the dress would be packed with some instructions, and I’m getting really frustrated.
I’ve never odered from Encircled and was excited about trying a sustainable company. I ordered this beautiful dress for an upcoming international trip. I received notification it was delivered, but I never received it. I selected uninsured shipping because I never had an issue with packages going missing. I contacted Encircled through email and received a link to submit a claim with the USPS. After a few emails with Encircled, I was told because I selected uninsured shipping they could not reship my order. I’m so disappointed and writing this so others learn from my error in not choosing insures shipping.
I wanted to love this but a snap broke after one wear. It's hard to travel light when your clothes break after one wear. Customer service didn't seem to understand how major of an issue this was. Maybe if they change their return policy...
I am in love with this concept. I received my first Chrysalis cardi two weeks ago and love it. Like others my only negative comment is that two of the snaps already came loose and I have only worn the cardi three times! Yikes! Still I am ordering my second cardi today in a different color.
