    So comfy

I call these dressy pajama pants. Not because they look like pajamas but I feel like I’m wearing pajamas. I wore them with heels to church, flip flops around the house and cute sandals to work they are very versatile depending on the shoes and type of shirt you pair them with. I cannot wear them on my waist however it just is very uncomfortable for me to wear clothes that high but it works to wear them lower- it does give a very slight harem look but I like the slight baggier style. If you want them tighter you have to pull them up pretty high if you’re short. My one complaint is what other people have mentioned about the elastic for the waistband. Why such a small elastic band?? Even though they are comfortable I have to either fold the thin elastic band over or under and regardless of either way I fold it it does leave a imprinted mark on my skin. It definitely needs a wider elastic band or just make that whole waist panel a very lightweight loose elastic. If I were the Encircled designers I definitely would be looking to redesign that aspect. I will definitely be keeping these but if I’m forking out $150 for a pair of pants I feel like they shouldn’t leave marks on me. I’m 5’2.5” about 125 lbs and got the small. Mediums would be way too big. Other than the thin elastic waistband I love these pants and will probably order another pair.

    Almost perfect pants

I have had these pants for a few months now and they are comfortable and I do love them, but.... I only wear them at around the house, they could be dressy enough to wear out but the length ruins it for me. The fabric is great, but the length is far too long.... I'm 5 foot 3 and the ruching at the bottom bunched up so the pants looked baggier than they are (more like harem pants). I considered getting the ends taken up and cutting off all the ruching... making the pants looking less tailored. But in the end, I did get the pants taken up at the bottom hem and it looks even more baggy. The rest of the pant is awesome.... please Encircled, make these pants in a petite version! I would buy them in ever colour if they made the same pants for us shorties! For those of you who are short like, beware, you will probably have to take up the hems, and the ruching detail will be destroyed!

    My favorite pants

These are my favorite pants at the moment. Dressy enough to wear to work, but so comfy you want to wear them to bed.

Wonderful pants that I wear almost everyday

To say I wear these pants all the time is an understatement. They are fantastic. The material is high quality, they flatter my body, and they are so cozy, but can be worn out on dates and to work! The don't pill even after i've washed them a million times. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars and not 5 is for two reasons. First, I do not understand such heavy ruching at the bottom of the pant - I think it makes the pant look overall cheaper somehow, and I have smaller ankles, so I do wish they had a more seamless look at the bottom. And also the zipper at the back waist serves no purpose. I feel if you got rid of these two aspects but kept the fabulous material and great pockets and slightly less ruching at the bottom - they would be absolutely perfect pants!

Holy Grail Pants - Personal Uniform Hurrah

BELIEVE THE HYPE. You need these pants in your life. I have tried to find other pants that look comparable to these, but have yet to find anything that measures up to the Dressy Sweatpants. I am 5' 7", about 230 lb and got the XXL. I own these pants in the 4 colors that have been available (black, blue, grey, navy).
Yes, I spent nearly $600 for 4 pairs of "sweatpants," but I literally wear them 4-5 times a week. These pants will literally take you from sleeping to working out to work to going out. I have worn them for pretty much any occasion you can think of, with varying degrees of formality. I plan to probably get another pair of the black so I can wear them to work everyday. I love having a personal uniform that I don't have to think about and feel great wearing.
The fit is perfect and I can wear them high waisted or a little lower if I want some slouch. The fabric is soft, thick enough so they are not see-through and the cut is flattering and modern (yes! pleats can be modern). I've owned the black pair for about a year and they still look just as good as the day I got them (I am religious about making sure they do not go in the dryer).
