Travel Muse, Kirsten + the Traveling Cardi in Sacramento

At Encircled, our designs are built for both travel + life.

Our first Travel Muse who we are following for the next few weeks is Kirsten.

In the words of Kirsten on her trip to Sacramento, California,

I headed to Northern California to ring in the New Year!

I spent most of my time in Sacramento and had an absolute blast. It was nice to escape the New York cold and play in the PERFECT weather.

I’ve been there before, and one of my favorite spots to spend a nice day is at the Capital building. It is packed full of history, and there’s no doubt that it is stunning inside and out.

My friend and I walked around the grounds and toured the gorgeous art deco interior. I wore my cardi as the cape with a black cami underneath, jeans and casual boots.

I wore a great chunky necklace, and know that if I traded in the boots for heels, there is no doubt this outfit could have gone from day to night in an instant!

As I boarded the plane (kicking and screaming) headed back to the frigid NY weather, I wore my cardi as a scarf, proving just how versatile my Chrysalis Cardi is!
