D'Arcy visits Europe
Guest Post Written by Travel Muse, D'Arcy Benincosa
I moved to Paris 7 days after my 20th birthday.
That started my obsession to see the world.
Since that time, I've designed my life and career to be portable and on the road. Whether it's volunteering a few months in Ireland, teaching English in Korea, backpacking the deserts of Mongolia, or studying educational systems in Brazil--I'm on the road.
These days I get paid to be on the road to take photos and make movies.
Traveling the globe with a lot of gear means I need to be savvy in what I can bring for clothing options.
When it comes to bringing a camera or an extra sweater, you can believe me when I say that the camera is going to win. I discovered Encircled designs right before a two month long adventure to the UK and Europe.
I cannot tell you how versatile, comfortable, and cozy it was, along with matching everything in my wardrobe.
I used my chrysalis cardi to wrap around me on cold airplanes. I wrapped it tight so my arms were cozy and supported, which rarely happens on planes these days.
I used it as a shirt, a scarf, and even spread it out on the lawns of Trinity College in Dublin for a picnic.
It truly because the one piece of clothing I couldn't be with out.
The cardi is perfect for unknown weather changes. It stays clean, folds up small, but offers so much in return. I never go anywhere without it!
