The Traveling Cardi: Hawaii
This is the sixth post in the Traveling Cardi series, and the third post from Travelista, Patricia.
This summer the annual convention that I attend was held in Hawaii...a great opportunity to add some family time to work travel.
My husband, son, and I headed off to Honolulu for the conference and then over to the Big Island (Kona) for a week of rest and recreation.
The weather was beautiful and the views were spectacular.
While on the Big Island, we stayed in Waikoloa and traveled all around the island to see the various sites...cities, waterfalls, beaches, and volcanos.
My cardi came in handy many times on this trip but especially on the plane as a blanket and then as a beach cover up. Since I pretty much lived in my bathing suit on this trip, my cardi made the perfect cover up as we walked to and from the beaches and pools.
When we went up (in altitude) to the top of the volcanos, the air was chilly and my cardi provided the perfect amount of warmth to an otherwise great day.
This was a great trip!
