At Encircled, we’re so proud to work with one of the last remaining Dye houses in Canada, Ajax Textile. As we approach Canada Day, we want to highlight the work they do to support the Canadian apparel manufacturing industry and provide Canadian brands with a local and sustainable dye house for their fabrics.
If you’re familiar with Encircled, you know two topics we’re very passionate about are Canadian-made fashion and Capsule Wardrobes. So we decided to combine the two and create a Summer Capsule Wardrobe featuring made-in Canada styles.
We stand in solidarity with the fight against systemic racism, white supremacy and the historic oppression of the Black community.
“Designed in Canada”. You’ve likely seen these words on a brand’s website, social media accounts, or even a product’s hangtag. What does it actually mean?
We are so proud to be a Canadian-made brand, but we’re not the only ones! We wanted to showcase some of the other Canadian-made brands we think you’ll love, so we put together a list of 15 brands across various industries for you to check out!
We believe it’s so important to start your day off right with a morning routine you love. Your morning routine sets the tone for your day, and having a routine you look forward to makes waking up that much easier. The Encircled team has been working from home for over two months now, and we like to think we’ve developed some pretty great morning routines. So, whether you’re creating a new routine, trying to improve an existing one, or just looking for some WFH style inspo, checkout how our team does WFH mornings!
When it comes to clothing, the most sustainable thing you can do is wear what’s already in your closet. But what if your favourite shirt is missing a button or has a hole? Instead of shopping for a replacement, we want to help you repair that shirt and get it back into the rotation!
I think we can all agree that there is a unique satisfaction in purchasing a piece of clothing that you still find yourself wearing YEARS later. On the flip side, we likely all have a piece of clothing (or a few) that we spent way too much money on, and have barely worn. We want to help you avoid the latter!
Not only are many of us living in leggings 7 days a week during our work-from-home days, but we’re loving our leggings for the comfort they bring. Leggings are just so easy.
Pull on, and go. It can still pose some questions on style. Is it worth dressing up leggings if you’re just working from home? Does it even matter what you wear while staying in?
