These trousers are very high-waisted. I wanted that, so I am happy. The smooth fabric is thick and drapes beautifully. The trousers look quite elegant and feel like quality. They are long-ish, though, so if you are on the short side (I am 5'5" and the hem sits on the floor when I am barefoot), you may need to hem them.
In order to get a little more ease in the waistline, I sized up from my usual Large to an XL. That was the right call.
Beautiful, thick yet flexible & comfortable fabric - feels really high quality. The waistband is a great width - thick enough to define your waist, but not so thick that it eats up your entire torso and sits awkward at your bra line (a common problem with high-waisted pants on anyone with a short-torso). Elegant and versatile, these are fantastic pants and my only gripe is that they’re just little too long for me (5’5” with long legs, but I only wear flats).
I love these trousers! They go well with my encircled tops (pictured with the comfy dress shirt in saphire). I am a small in the dressy sweat pants but had to size up to a medium in these. I am 5'9 135 pounds 33 hips 29 waist. They are very long pants. They hit about a half inch from the ground when i wear my 3 inch heels. This is nice for me as it is hard to find true floor length pants at my height.
These pants are PERFECT!!!!! So sleek and slimming with a flattering high waist, and also the most lush comfortable fabric! Putting them on, I immediately felt polished but super relaxed. I’m so glad I bought two colours! My measurements are 34/29/41 and I bought a small. A bit tight getting over the booty, but doable, and perfect waist fit thereafter.
I have these both in grey and aubergine and wore them on repeat all winter. I found them to be super flattering for my middle-aged apple-shapped body as they snatched my waist in while still being comfortable. The quality of these pants are excellent. I had a pair of pin tuck pants from another Cnd-owned eco company and the pin tuck was not sewn together as panels like these Encircled pants are which lead to the pin tuck unraveling. These wear very well. My fav Encircled item so far!
